What counts as an emergency
- Refrigerator or deep freezer not cooling with stock inside
- Burning smell, sparking or repeated MCB tripping
- Water leaking near electrical points
- AC failure with infants, elderly or patients at home
Do this first
- Switch the appliance off at the MCB
- Move perishables to a neighbour’s fridge if possible
- Photograph any error code or leak
